Caroline Ispan - Chair of Governors

Caroline Ispan has been a governor at Christ church since 2007, and has held vice chair before moving on to become chair for the current school year.  She has two children who attend Christ church, one in each Key stage.  She has worked in the NHS for 20 years in mental health.  During this time she has predominantly worked with the needs of older people, with some time spent working with adults with learning disabilities.  Most leisure time is currently taken up by supporting her children with their out of school activities, but she enjoys a good book.  She also used to be an avid regional league hockey player until children came along.

Rev Arani Sen - Foundation Governor

Rev Arani Sen has been Vicar Of Christ Church since 2008, and serves as a foundation governor. The church and school have long historical links, and Arani is always keen to work closely with the school through collective worship, church links and special services. He has previously been a chair of governors in a London school, where he used to live; before his ordination he was a secondary school language teacher. As such he is very passionate about education and believes Christ Church is an exemplary caring, achieving church school. He is married to Alison, who is a dyslexia assessor at Craven College in Skipton.
