We are a Church of England School, and we are proud to extend an inclusive welcome to families of other faiths and denominations so that all children work and play together with mutual respect.  Christ Church is a happy and successful school, where good behaviour is expected and all children are able to thrive.  The care, guidance and support provided for all our children is a strength of the school and we aim to have good relationships with families and the community so that pupils can be supported to do their best.  We want children to grow up in a safe and nurturing environment that gives them a wide range of experiences and opportunities.  We hope that you will feel comfortable to share with us any concerns or news that impact on your child’s wellbeing and readiness to learn. 

We want to work in partnership with families for the benefit of the children.  We provide extended care, through our breakfast club, and have after school provision on site so that the school day extends from 8am until 6pm. You will be welcome at events, Celebration Assemblies and at our services in Church.  During the school year we will invite you into school to share information with you about your child’s progress in school and hope that you will join with us in celebrating their successes and setting new goals.  We will send a written report in the Summer term which will provide a summary of your child’s achievements and attainment over the year.  At other times, if you wish to speak to your child’s teacher, myself, or a member of our pastoral support team please do not hesitate to do so.
